Nothing livens up a room like a pop of nature. If you don’t have a green thumb, you can make the room come alive and boost the natural energy by decorating with nature-inspired art. The bright color and intensity brings the outside in.
Get bold with your art and create a gallery wall to amplify the story of nature in your home. For some, this may be a scary process to come up with a uniquely curated display, wishing they could have a pre-designed solution for their gallery wall. Still, there are several ways to go about putting your gallery wall together. Here are three of them.
The first option would be to DIY. Buy some craft paper from your local arts and craft store, and trace each frame you want to use onto the paper and trim to size. Tape your craft paper cutouts to the wall with painter’s tape until your gallery wall is perfect. Then go ahead and hang the real pieces. What pieces? This is where your creativity comes in. If you are unsure where to start, it’s always good to pick a color palette or something that is going to unify the theme of the gallery, like nature and the color green!
Your second option would be to get help from a company like Desenio, who provide curated gallery collections and sell them as a package. There isn’t any designing necessary on your part. Just hang it up as purchased and you are good to go. Here is an example of one of their products on the left.
The last, and best option, if you want to have a curated gallery wall that will perfectly match your identity and space, you can purchase a Curated Gallery Wall Package service from an interior decorator/designer. When you are working with an expert who can listen to your wants and needs and make sure all the elements of the gallery work well with your existing decor, you will end up with a beautifully finished and personalized look.

Evelyn Kloczko | Owner, Leaf and Lake Design
Hello, let’s be on a first-name basis. My name is Evelyn, and I am thrilled you are here! I am a Certified Interior Decorator, Stager, Visual Stylist, and Virtual e-Designer. My goal as an interior decorator is to enhance the way you live and feel in your home. I specialize in decorating homes in the mountain, lake, and coastal styles, and have a refined, modern-rustic persuasion. My love of design and decor started when I was about seven years old. I remember how badly I wanted the Barbie Dream House, but my family couldn’t afford it at the time. Undeterred, I had to get creative to make my own Barbie Dream House. From found items in my home, I would make beautiful furnishings. I designed encyclopedia beds with washcloth pillows and duvets, and built wooden headboards out of twigs I gathered from the backyard. And a few of my mother’s old silk scarves were also sacrificed, but it was in the name of good design. I learned during that time how much I loved designing and, with the right amount of creativity and imagination, I could make amazing spaces. I also learned how much nature could play a part in sound design and how I could share that with others. Jumping ahead, after receiving my degree from the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising (F.I.D.M.), I spent years working in visual merchandising, presentation, styling and the film industry. I later received my C.I.D, C.H.S.P, and Virtual Design certifications, which have prepared me to design for you! When we work together, I will listen to your design requests, and I am fully committed to making sure the work I do is a reflection of your tastes and preferences. With me, you will receive personalized service and a unique design aesthetic that is Inspired By Nature.
